Join us for a family-friendly night around a crackling campfire, where Passaic County Park Rangers retell the first campfire stories of Sasquatch!
Hear how the Legend of Bigfoot began in an oral history of American folklore.
May 17 - Night Owls Environmental Education with Lokai Rose @ Camp Hope
The environmental educators of Lokai Rose will lead activities all about nocturnal animals that kids can find in their own backyards!
June 21 - Night Hike @ Rifle Camp Park
Join the Passaic County Parks & Recreation staff a nighttime hike in search of all the creatures that become active in the forest after the sun sets.
July 19 - Miss Jolie Children's Concert Rifle Camp Park
Join highly energetic Miss Jolie for silliness, stories, music, and fun! She brings a twist to classic children's music in addition to original interactive songs.
Aug 9 - West Milford Library Storytime @ Camp Hope
Join the Passaic County Parks & Recreation staff for fun and marshmallows around our fire pits!
Sept 20 - Car Camping Night @ Rifle Camp Park
The Passaic County Parks Visitor Services Rangers will be leading a discussion and demonstration of car camping around the fire pit.
