Socialization is an important and exciting part of childhood development. At our parent & me programs, your child will have an opportunity to explore, learn new things, make new friends and have fun! Activities may include, but are not limited to; read-alongs, sensory play, arts, crafts, music, and movement. When weather permits, some activities may be conducted outdoors.

March 3: Yoga & Reading with Bendy Bookworm

The Bendy Bookworm program is a 30-minute interactive story time followed by a craft that usually takes anywhere from an additional 15-30 minutes (overall the entire program usually comes to about 60 minutes): I use movement (yoga poses; I am a registered yoga instructor) and picture books to target and practice developmental skills that focus on cognition, motor, and emotional.
April 6: Creative Movement with Wiggle & Giggle

This class is specifically designed for our youngest dancers! In this class, children will use their imaginations while developing coordination, rhythm, and listening skills through fun activities. Littles will be introduced to movement fundamentals and different types of music, while working on gross motor skills. Join us as we move like animals, dance to the music, and giggle through class. (starting with children 15 months old)
June 5: Chem-Mystery with Mad Science
Where: Garret Mountain Reservation - Woodland Park, NJ
Eliminate the mystery in chemistry! Explore one of the most exciting and fundamental sciences as you grow a crazy crystal garden and make your own "chemical" soda pop.
July 6: Move, Read, & Craft with Bendy Bookworm
Where: Camp Hope - West Milford, NJ
Move, Read & Craft is a librarian's twist on Yoga. Children learn a funky flow of yoga poses taught through a new book each class. This class brings the joy of books into physical practice in a safe and fun atmosphere. Be ready to get your bendy bookworm on! Class will end with a fun S.T.E.A.M. craft!.
July 31: Magical Melodies with Mr. Chris
Where: Goffle Brook Park - Hawthorne, NJ
Mr. Chris of Magical Melodies comes to Goffle Brook Park with his high-energy music program. Your kids will be up and dancing with lots of songs, marching, and laughter!
Although ideal for kids ages 2 to 5, all ages are welcome to attend this free program!

Gravity, Inertia, Centripetal force: who could ever imagine that an introduction to physics could be so much fun? We’ll experience these awesome forces for ourselves and build some cool devices to watch them at work.
