Forest Bathing Walks

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Forest bathing is a mindful walk in the woods with the specific intention to connect with the natural world and to gain benefit and energy from it. In other words, you are bathing in the energy of the trees, leaves, sky, and earth. Think of it as a guided, meditative, healing walk through the forests of Garret Mountain Reservation. Groups will meet at the boathouse parking lot.

This event will be hosted by Gerti Schoen:
Gerti Schoen is a psychotherapist, spiritual counselor, and forest therapy guide in NYC and NJ. Over the past 20 years, she has studied eco-feminist spirituality, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral approaches, Eastern philosophy, energy healing, nature connection, dream work and shamanic practices, and has come to greatly appreciate how much these teachings help in the healing process.
