Event Description:
What better way to bring back events than an ugly sweater hike in beautiful Ringwood, NJ.
Hosted by Hike the World and Passaic County Parks & Recreation and partnering with the New York New Jersey Trail Conference, Hiker’s Compass, and Urban and Outdoor Survival.
Healthy hiking snacks will be provided by Unfauxgettable Food. We’ll also provide hot cocoa, hot cider.
Contests:
• Ugly Sweater Contest: Don your favorite holiday sweater for a chance to win some HTW and Passaic County merchandise!
• Photo Contest: Take creative photos along the hike using provided holiday figurines, post on social media and tag @hiketheworldco to be entered into a photo contest for more HTW merch!

- Parking: Parking lot A, Skylands Manor, Ringwood State Park
- Difficulty: Easy, with one moderate incline.
- Distance: Roughly 3 miles.
- Time: 2.5 – 3 hours from trailhead and back.
