Urban Gardening Webinar series
Rutgers Cooperative Extension is pleased to invite you to our urban gardening webinar series in Spanish, titled “El Huerto Urbano.” This series consists of live webinars in which colleagues from the New Jersey Agricultural Extension Station will offer advice for beginner gardeners with a different gardening topic each month. This is a series geared towards beginner gardeners interested in learning how to grow a vegetable garden in urban spaces. The live streamed presentations are for adults, but gardening activities for the whole family will be covered.
Join us monthly on Wednesday evenings starting March 30th online at 6:00 PM to learn and ask questions of the experts at Rutgers Cooperative Extension. The lineup will cover various topics, from planning a vegetable garden to preserving the garden harvest. These free virtual sessions are in Spanish, will last 1 hour and will be held live via Zoom. El Huerto Urbano Serie Virtual El Servicio de Extensión Agrícola de la Universidad de Rutgers se complace en invitarte a nuestra serie virtual en español, El Huerto Urbano. Esta serie consiste en seminarios web en vivo en los que colegas del Servicio de Extensión Agrícola de Nueva Jersey ofrecerán técnicas y consejos sobre un tema de jardinería diferente cada mes. Esta serie está dirigida a principiantes, personas interesadas ??en aprender a cultivar hortalizas en espacios urbanos. Aunque estas sesiones están diseñadas para adultos, los participantes en ellas compartiremos actividades de jardinería para integrar a toda la familia! Acompáñanos los miércoles en la noche cada mes, comenzando el 30 de marzo de 2022, a las 6:00 pm. Estas sesiones virtuales son en español, duran 1 hora y se llevarán a cabo en vivo a través de Zoom.
