Bugs are the underappreciated heroes of our planet! Join us for a celebration of our 6 legged friends and everything they do for us!

Schedule:
10:00 AM: Bug Hunt with Lokai Rose
Join the environmental educators from Lokai Rose for a bug hunt around Camp Hope's campus. 
11:30 AM: Book, Yoga, and Craft with Bendy Bookworm - Session 1
The Bendy Bookworm program is a 30 minute interactive storytime followed by a craft that usually takes anywhere from an additional 15-30 minutes.  Yoga instructor, Danielle, uses yoga and picture books to target and practice developmental skills that focus on cognition, motor, and emotional skills.
She'll be reading a book about bugs, having your kids do yoga poses like a bug, and completing an arts & crafts project about bugs. 
12:00 PM: Butterfly Release by Lokai Rose
Lokai Rose will be leading people on a butterfly release around Camp Hope. Because butterflies are pollinators, they are an important component of plant ecosystems. (Registration required below.)

1:00 PM: How It's Made: Honey

A professional beekeeper will give an hour long demonstration of their honey making process and detail all the amazing benefits honeybees provide to our ecosystem.
