The Passaic County Parks & Recreation Department along with the Friends of Garret Mountain Reservation are planning a fun-filled, educational celebration of Earth Day!

Date: Saturday, April 27th
Time:  The Earth Day Expo which will exhibit Earth-friendly vendors will be on display from 9 AM to 3 PM. 
Location: Garret Mountain Reservation - Pat DiIanni Boathouse. 8 Mountain Ave. Woodland Park, NJ

Kids Schedule:
9:30 AM: Reading with a Ranger
10:00 AM: Animal Skins & Skulls Demo
11:00 AM: Tree Planting Ceremony
12:00 PM: Animal Tracks & Traces Demo
1:00 PM: Bird Hurdles Migration Game
2:00 PM: Pond Life Exploration

Plus more activities from Lokai Rose, Rutgers 4-H, Little Falls Girl Scout Troop, City Green, and our Americorps Watershed Ambassador.

8:30 AM: Family Bird Walk with Montclair Bird Club
10:00 AM: Intro to Spring Wildflowers Walk with Joe Labriola
11:00 AM: Tree Planting Ceremony
11:30 AM: Nature Journaling Hike with James Sisti
1:00 PM: Step Inside the Tree's World with Partners in Nature
2:00 PM: Family Nature Walk with Friends of Garret Mountain Reservation
