The Passaic
County Recreation department is happy to share with you all the return of our Horseback Riding program!
Participants will learn horse care, horsemanship, horse safety and how to saddle a horse with the ultimate goal of being able to ride a horse by the end of the 8-week program.
This session will be separated into two time slots: one for first time riders, who will and one for returning riders (children have to have participated in THIS SPECIFIC PROGRAM SPRING 2023, FALL 2023 or SPRING 2024), please register accordingly. THIS PROGRAM IS ONLY OPEN FOR PASSAIC COUNTY RESIDENTS.
Dates: Mondays, June 2 - July 21, 2025
Garret Mountain Equestrian Center - 1 Park Road, Woodland Park, NJ
First Time Riders (Ages 8-15): 5:00PM - 6:00PM
Returning Riders (Ages 8-15): 6:00PM - 7:00PM
FOR PASSAIC COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY
Cost: $80 due on site paid directly to the Equestrian center
