Passaic County Fishing Derby 2026
The Passaic County Parks & Recreation office and the Clifton Recreation Department are teaming up with GoGo Gomez for Kids & Family to bring you the 7th annual Passaic County Fishing Derby!
When: Saturday, September 26 - 7 a.m. - 10 a.m. (please arrive at 6:45 a.m.; last fish must be in at 9:45 a.m.)
Where: Main Memorial Park - 1395 Main Ave. Clifton, NJ
Awards will be issued to the top fishers who catch the largest fish and most fish caught!
The 7 competition groups are:
~ Junior Girls (ages 5-8)
~ Junior Boys (ages 5-8)
~ Senior Girls (ages 9-13)
~ Senior Boys (ages 9-13)
~ Teen Girls (ages 14-17)
~ Teen Boys (ages 14-17)
~ Adults (ages 18+)
Fish must be caught by hook (no nets) and the hook must be in the fish's mouth when presented for judging.
Final fish must be caught by 9:45 a.m.
Registration required below! There will be no on-site registration permitted.
You must provide your own fishing equipment.
